Do you have Type 2 Diabetes?

Are you interested in becoming a patient expert for SugoSure?

We seek user input at every step of product design and development. SugoSure is now at an advanced stage of development and we seek feedback from patients on the near-to-complete product.
We are therefore building a panel of 10-15 ‘patient experts’ whom we can periodically contact over the next 3 months as we finalise SugoSure’s design.

ConnectedHealth exhibits SugoSure – its first chronic disease management product, supporting care for patients with Type 2 Diabetes – at Innovfest Unbound 2018

ConnectedHealth was one of a few digital health start-ups to exhibit at Innovfest 2018, alongside other innovative companies from a wide range of industries and countries.

The event, organized by NUS Enterprise and Unbound (in partnership with the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore), lasted two days and offered visitors a chance to attend talks, participate in workshops and meet innovative companies. During this time the ConnectedHealth team demonstrated SugoSure to over 100 visitors at their booth and also presented at a dedicated MedTech session to an audience of investors, industry experts and potential future customers.

ConnectedHealth’s booth was one of the busiest in our area and there was genuine interest in Digital Health and how technology can be used to transform healthcare delivery.  In particular, SugoSure was very well received and the ideas and feedback from our visitors has been helpful as we enter the later stages of product development and trials.

ConnectedHealth participates in A*Start Central’s MedTech ‘Elevator’ programme as one of 9 selected start-ups

ConnectedHealth was selected from 17 applicants to participate in a special programme to support promising local MedTech start-ups, culminating in a pitching event on 8 June. Called ‘The Elevator’’ and organised by A*Start Central (an innovation arm of the Singapore government’s A*STAR Agency of Science, Technology and Research), the programme aimed to assist start-ups in development and execution of their plans as well as providing an opportunity to pitch to industry experts and investors.

The 9 participating start-ups varied dramatically in their products, target markets and business plans – which made for an interesting afternoon of cross-discipline conversation and learning.  Questions and insights from the distinguished panel and audience were helpful to all to test the robustness of plans and provide informed insights.

In ConnectedHealth’s case, we fielded questions on the design and approach of SugoSure – including whether doctors would buy into the product, how our approach was distinct from others in the market and whether we will face any regulatory hurdles.

The AStart* programme was highly informative and we received lots of positive feedback as well as constructive criticism and input from the panel in the pitch session. ConnectedHealth hopes to continue these types of discussions, and to incorporate market and investor feedback as it defines the best positioning for SugoSure.  This is in preparation for SugoSure’s commercialisation following its testing phase in patients, which has just begun.

ConnectedHealth moves towards commercialisation of its transformational Diabetes management product, SugoSure.

Launch of user trials and first public demonstration at Innovfest 2018 signify the start of the next phase for SugoSure as the product moves steadily towards commercialisation.

.

ConnectedHealth Pte Ltd’s first chronic disease management product, SugoSure, is progressing steadily towards commercial launch by the end of this year. SugoSure is a digital health solution focused on improving the care of patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

In recent months, SugoSure has undergone extensive development, progressing from prototype into a fully functioning Patient App and Physician Portal, linked through our cloud-based clinical data management platform.

The third component of Sugosure, the Health Coach Portal, is on track to be completed in 3q 2018. This will create a linked platform which allows doctors and other clinicians to monitor patient care and intervene more effectively than ever before. At the same time SugoSure’s app and personalised health coaching support patients as they make the lifestyle changes needed to achieve best possible disease outcomes.

From 11 June the ConnectedHealth team will test functionality and usability of the SugoSure Patient App and Physician Portal with Dr Tan Chee Eng (Clinical Advisor to ConnectedHealth) and his patients from his practice at Gleneagles Hospital. The trial will run for 6 weeks with patients of varying ages, lifestyles and co-morbidities using the system, overseen by Dr Tan who will use the Physician Portal to remotely review patient progress and manage care plans.

This is the first in a line of trials planned by ConnectedHealth to gather feedback which will be incorporated into the SugoSure’s final pre-launch stages of development and design. Discussions are also under way with two major Singapore hospitals with a view to setting up larger, full-scale trials to demonstrate clinical efficacy later this year.
ConnectedHealth will publicly demonstrate SugoSure for the first time at Innovfest 2018 to potential partners and investors. Visitors are welcome at the ConnectedHealth booth in Pavilion O, Marina Bay Sands Expo & Conference Centre Singapore.
